From one of two different luxurious lodges ideally located on exclusive stretches of some of Argentina’s most famous rivers, guests have exclusive access to many incredible fisheries, including the Aluminé, Collon Cura, Malleo, Chimehuin, Quillén, Pulmarí, Malalco, and more!
The nearest beats are within sight of the lodge, and in about an hour’s drive or less on good roads are dozens more great stretches of river.

Estancia Pilolil
Estancia Pilolil is the premier destination for fishing adventures in northern Patagonia. The 23,000-acre private estancia is perfectly situated in the heart of this fish-filled region, conveniently located a short drive from the regional airport at San Martin de Los Andes.
The lodge is perched on the west bank of the scenic Aluminé River, with ten miles of the most productive stretches of this famous river, and dozens of other excellent fisheries within easy striking distance, including the famous Chimehuín River, Collón Curá River, Quillén River, Malleo River, as well as several smaller streams and spring creeks. This amazing diversity of fishing options enables guests to enjoy fishing at a different location every day, including an optional overnight campout on the river for those guests wanting to fully immerse themselves in the wilderness of Northern Patagonia.
The beautiful Estancia Pilolil accommodates up to 10 guests in deluxe comfort, including incredible cuisine and fine Argentine wines. Non-angling guests will enjoy daily options for horseback rides, hiking, sightseeing, shopping in the nearby towns, or simply relaxing with a good book.
Tres Rios Lodge
Tres Rios Lodge is located on a secluded private estancia on a bluff overlooking the confluence of the Chimehuín and Collón Curá Rivers.
The views are simply spectacular!
Guests fishing at Tres Rios enjoy exclusive private access to 10 miles of the best and most productive stretches of the Chimehuín River. It is rare to ever see another angler here. Very productive sections of the Collón Curá River are also easily accessible, as well as several lakes that are known to hold very large trout.
The lodge is small and intimate, accommodating up to eight guests in double occupancy rooms. There is a beautiful and spacious living room and bar area, dining room, and a separate building for their famous open-fire asados. The focus at Tres Rios Lodge is on the entire guest experience, with exceptional service in a comfortable atmosphere. You’ll leave here feeling like a part of the family.
