TRES RÍOS LODGE

Neuquén · Argentina

The Lodge

Chimehuin River, Collon Cura River

Tres Rios Lodge is one of the most remote lodges in northern Patagonia, providing some of the best access to rarely-fished sections of the Chimehuin and Collón Cura Rivers.

Tres Rios Lodge is located on a secluded, private estancia only about 45 minutes from San Martin de los Andes. It sits on a bluff overlooking the confluence of the Chimehuin and Collón Cura Rivers. The views are simply spectacular! Tres Rios is so remote, it is totally off the grid; electricity is generated by solar panels and windmills.

Guests fishing at Tres Rios enjoy exclusive private access to 10 miles of the best and most productive stretches of the Chimehuin River, which can be fished both by floating and by wading. Dry flies, nymphs, and streamers all work well to tempt the river’s uneducated, resident rainbow and brown trout. It is rare to see another angler here. Very productive sections of the Collón Cura River are also easily accessible, as well as several lagunas that are known to hold very large trout.

The lodge is small and intimate, accommodating up to eight guests in double occupancy rooms. There is a beautiful and spacious living room and bar area, dining room, and a separate building for their famous open fire asados. The focus at Tres Rios Lodge is on the entire guest experience, with exceptional service in a comfortable atmosphere. You’ll leave here feeling like a part of the family.
